Show case
Showcase "Sizzling songs and Dazzling Dances" will take place on Monday 20th July at 7.00 pm.  This will involve all singers and some festival dancers.  The show is open to all and tickets will be £5.00 (£3.50 concessions) entry includes a glass of wine/soft drink and refreshments.  All profits will go to the Costume Fund  please come and support us.  Tickets are pre-bookable from Miss Sue or available on the door

Examinations  Autumn Term

Swale Festival
As most festival competitors will now know the Summertime Festival has been cancelled and the Swale Festival has been brought forward.  This festival will now take place on Saturday/Sunday 19th /20th September and Saturday/Sunday 26/27th September.
Rehearsals will commence Saturday 5th September.  If you wish to take part please book private lessons with Miss Sue before the end of the Summer term.

CHOREOGRAPHIC COMPETITION
29th NOVEMBER 2009 AT TUNBURY HALL

This competition will take place at Tunbury Hall commencing at approximately 1.30pm on Sunday 29th November 2009.  All funds raised will go towards costumes for "Movie Magic" so please take part and support us!!

The categories will be as detailed below.

1. Cabaret solo (under 12 years)
2. Classical solo (under 12 years
3. Street Dance/Hip Hop/Freestyle (under 12 years)
4 Cabaret solo (12 years and over)
5 Classical solo (12 years and over
6. Street Dance/Hip Hop/Freestyle (12 years and over),

Time limit for all solos is a maximum of 2 minutes

7 Cabaret Duet (under 12 years)
8. Classical Duet (under 12 years)
9. Cabaret Duet (12 years and over)
10 Classical Duet (12 years and over
11 Street Dance/Hip Hop/Freestyle Duet (any age)

Time limit for all duets is a maximum of 3 minutes

12 Trio/Quartet (under 12 years  cabaret or classical)
13 Trio/Quartet (12 years and over  cabaret or classical))

Time limit for all trios/quartets/groups is a maximum of 3 minutes

14. Troupes/Groups (any age)

Time limit for Troupes/Groups is a maximum of 5 minutes

Cabaret Sections
Include Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Song and Dance

Classical Sections
Include Ballet, character, national, greek

This competition is open to any pupils currently dancing in the School.  If you wish to enter please obtain forms from Miss Sue or Andy.  Forms should be returned by Sunday 15th November.  The programme for the competition will be posted on the Notice Board by Wednesday 25th November.

Prizes will be awarded at the End of Term Presentation (12th December) to all winners  including the highest Novice award.  Novice constitutes anyone who has not been placed in a previous Bluebell School Choreographic competition
Some sections may need to be amalgamated if there are not enough entries.

2010 ANNUAL PRODUCTION “MOVIE MAGIC”
This will take place on Friday and Saturday 5th and 6th March 2010 at 7.00 pm and Sunday 7th March at 3.00 pm.

Rehearsals will take place on
Saturday 27th February at St Williams Church Hall
Sunday 28th February at the Brook Theatre from 3.00 pm (all pupils must attend this rehearsal)
Thursday 4th March at The Brook Theatre from 4.30 pm (all pupils from Grade 1 upwards to attend)

Times for the above rehearsals will be announced shortly but please try to keep above dates clear if possible

IF ANY PUPILS ARE UNABLE TO TAKE PART IN THIS PRODUCTION, PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP.  WE HAVE ALREADY MADE MANY OF THE COSTUMES AND DANCES ARE CURRENTLY BEING CHOREOGRAPHED

First Steps and Pre-primary Sat (Mickey & Minnie) : 9:00 – 9:45
Primary Saturday : 9:45 – 10:30
Grade 1 & Primary Thursday, Tap Classes 1 2 & 3 : 10:30 - 12:30
Grade 1 Saturday : 10:30 – 1:00
Grade 2 Saturday & Grade 2 Thursday : 11:30 – 2:30
Street Dance (children only in this class & no other) : 11:30 – 1:00
EVERYONE ELSE 10:30 – 4:00pm

We will be having a lunch break at 1:00pm. If you are required after this time please bring a packed lunch. Children under 14 years will not be allowed out from the hall at this time unless previously agreed with a member of staff.

SUNDAY 28TH FEB : BROOK THEATRE
This is the running order of musical numbers. This is the  order these numbers will run in the show with the exception of the four numbers run at the beginning of the afternoon. Principals & actors, please note we will also be running all scenes between these musical numbers.
We will try very hard to stick to this timetable but please bear in mind this is a dress rehearsal and we ask for your patience should there be delays!
