Suzanne Burnham-Jones ANATD Principal Sue trained at the Cirencester Ballet Club from 1956-1964 with Russian ballerina Madame Lydia Kyasht and her daughter (also Lydia Kyasht). During the 1960s she choreographed both amatuer and professional productions, including productions at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham. She founded Bluebell School of Dance in 1977 and has produced dozens of shows for the school. Sue has choreographed for several local professional and amateur companies.

Trudi Oseman FNATD BA (HONS) (LOND) Trudi trained at BBSD from the age of 10. She was the school's first ballerina, dancing the Sugar Plum Fairy (1979), Swanilda (1981), Princess Aurora (1983), and Odile (1991). She has been teaching at BBSD since qualifying in 1986. She now holds an NATD Fellowship. She has also taught dance for KCC and Kent Dance Association. She has directed ballets for Kent Amateur Ballet and choreographed for the Kentish Players. Trudi also holds BA(Hons) for Drama and Theatre Studies. Trudi specialises in music and movement for pre-school children.

Natalie Gilmour ANATD  Natalie originally trained with Jane Carpenter and continued her full-time training with the Urdang Academy at Covent Garden. She has qualified to Advanced level with the RAD and is an Associate Member of the NATD. She also qualified with the IDTA . She has performed with Vienna Festival Ballet and in various summer seasons and has been featured in advertising and promotional work. For BBSD Natalie played Nikiya in La Bayadere (2001).

YOUR TEACHERS

Claire Cloete MNATD Claire  trained at BBSD and is our modern and tap specialist. She qualified in modern dance with NATD in 2006. For BBSD Claire has played Dr Coppelius (Coppelia 2002), Carabosse (Sleeping Beauty 2005) and Alain (La Fille Mal Gardee 2009). Claire has performed with the Bluebell Dancers Cabaret team in both amateur and professional shows.

Suzy Walker ANATD Suzy trained with Audrey Tutton and later at BBSD where she played Fairy Vitality in Sleeping Beauty (1995) the Cockerel in La Fille Mal Gardee (1993) and The Prince in The Nutcracker (1996). Suzy went on to train at Italia Conti London. She has performed in a variety of musical productions in London theatres and cruise ships. Suzy is also qualified with ISTD.

Jane-Rebecca Marshall GLCM (Hons) LLCM (TD) ALCM Jane trained at the London College of Music. She teaches in London and her pupils are working professionally in the West End and Jane is also teaching the Medway Towns. She is one of the most sought after teachers in the county. For BBSD Jane focuses on singing for musical theatre and believes in allowing every child to reach their personal best.
